Angel Oak Tree

Angel Oak Park, located on Johns Island, is home to the renowned Angel Oak Tree, often referred to as a "Lowcountry Treasure." This majestic Southern Live Oak serves as the centerpiece of one of the City of Charleston's public parks and is recognized as a significant historic landmark. Believed to be between 300 and 400 years old, it is widely regarded as the largest live oak tree east of the Mississippi River.

You've never seen a tree like this before! Truly awe-striking.

Biggest rule: Do not sit on any of the limbs.
