Welcome to NorthStar on beautiful Folly Beach! This gorgeous 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is unlike any other rental property on Folly. Located on the very quiet eastern tip of the island the home provides quick access to quiet beaches all in a relaxed bohemian like setting. The owners have carefully crafted the home to exude all of the relaxed lifestyle Folly Beach has to offer. NorthStar is the perfect spot for the family that needs to recharge.
 
Upon entering the home 4 ocean-front sliding glass doors provide 7 large windows and stunning ocean views. The open floor-plan on the top level is perfect for entertaining as the kitchen and living area flow together seamlessly. Whether you are preparing dinner, watching the flat-screen TV, or reading your favorite book, the Atlantic ocean scenery is only a glance away. The living area features comfortable seating for the whole family and small working desk for the unfortunate business traveler. The kitchen features a large center island perfect for the entertaining family chef. Stainless steel appliances, gas range for cooking and a fully stocked kitchen includes all the modern conveniences of home. Farmhouse style table has seating for 10 while the kitchen island includes 4 additional bar-stool seating options. Often overlooked in a home with such stunning views and amenities are the gorgeous Heart Pine wood floors throughout the top floor living area that truly bring the whole area together.
 
The home features 3 bedrooms on the top floor and a detached mother-in-law suite on the bottom level. The master bedroom features king bed and full private bath. The remaining two upstairs bedroom share 1 full bath and encompass 2 twins in one and 1 queen in the remaining bedroom. All of the bedrooms include new upgraded linens that are sure to provide the perfect spot to unwind and cool the sunburned shoulders after a long day on the beach. 

The downstairs mother-in-law suite includes 4th bedroom, 3rd full bath and another full kitchen in the home. The suite is only accessible from the exterior of the home. Living area with flat-screen TV and couch provide a extra spot for entertainment options. The kitchen is no match for the main kitchen upstairs but includes full refrigerator/freezer, electric stove top and all the amenities the extra couple may need.
 
The exterior of the home may be the best part of the entire property. The oceanside deck on the top level feature ample seating for relaxation or catching some sun. The deck features fantastic ocean-views and picturesque sunrises from the eastern facing home. The bottom level features a cooler outdoor gathering space with ample shade, hammock and seating for the sunburned guests needing a break. Ocean breezes keep the downstairs outdoor area comfortable even in the hottest months. A large outdoor shower complete with custom bamboo door and hot water is great for washing off sand after the beach or embracing the island life and showering outside. Beach access located only a few doors down on Summer Place Lane.  
 
NorthStar is sure to be a repeat family destination for years to come. Beach access is a short walk away, no direct beach access from the home. The home includes WIFI, washer/dryer, cable TV, and all the modern conveniences you would expect in a high-end vacation rental. The home is strictly non-smoking and not pet-friendly.   

Beach renourishment is expected to begin in March 2024. During this time, areas of the beach may be temporarily closed and/or impacted. Public beach accesses can be found at nearly every block and/or half block up and down the island. We are not responsible for any beach disruptions caused by the renourishment.
