Wake up to ocean views, walk straight from the house to the sand, and bring your pups along for the adventure! Southern Paws is a pet-friendly, oceanfront Folly Beach retreat with private beach access and plenty of space to relax, recharge, and enjoy life by the water.
As an added perk, reservations of 3–21 nights receive a $250 credit toward beach gear rentals, so you can spend less time packing and more time enjoying the beach!
Step inside and settle into the bright, open living space where the kitchen, dining area, and living room make it easy for everyone to spend time together. The updated kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and island seating, whether you're making a quick breakfast before hitting the beach or enjoying dinner at home after a day in the sun.
One of our favorite parts of Southern Paws is the outdoor space. Step from the living room onto the screened porch and spacious oceanfront deck, where you can enjoy your morning coffee with an ocean breeze or unwind in the evening to the sound of the waves.
When you're ready for the beach, there's no need to load up the car—your private beach access leads you directly to the sand! Afterward, rinse off in the outdoor shower, fire up the gas grill (propane is provided), and enjoy a relaxing evening back at the house.
WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP
Southern Paws comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across three bedrooms.
The primary bedroom features a queen bed, TV, beautiful oceanfront views, and direct access to the deck. It connects to a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination that is also shared with the laundry area.
The second oceanfront bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and ocean views, while the third streetside bedroom offers another queen bed and TV. These two bedrooms share a second full bathroom with a shower/tub combination.
BRING THE PUPS!
We know a beach vacation is even better when your four-legged family members can come along. Southern Paws welcomes up to 2 pets with a $125 + tax non-refundable pet fee per pet.
ENJOY FOLLY BEACH
There's plenty to explore when you aren't relaxing at the house. Catch some waves at the Washout, rent bikes and cruise around the island, go kayaking or paddleboarding, book a fishing or dolphin-watching excursion, or take a walk toward the Morris Island Lighthouse.
You'll also find plenty of local restaurants, shops, and seasonal markets around Folly Beach when you're ready to venture out.
Want to spend a day in Charleston? Historic downtown Charleston is approximately a 25-minute drive away, where you can enjoy incredible restaurants, shopping, historic sites, waterfront parks, museums, tours, and more.
A FEW MORE DETAILS
The driveway provides parking for up to 3 vehicles. During your stay, you'll also have complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, a washer and dryer, central heating and air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor shower, gas grill with propane, and a cornhole set.
Guests must be 25 years or older to rent. The home is strictly non-smoking, and parties or events that exceed the maximum occupancy of 6 guests are not permitted.
Southern Paws is professionally managed, with 24-hour on-call maintenance available should you need assistance during your stay.
STARTER SUPPLIES
To make settling in a little easier, we'll have a complimentary starter supply of household essentials waiting for you.
The kitchen includes 2 rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels.
Each bathroom includes 2 rolls of toilet paper and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms also include travel-size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and makeup wipes.
Additional supplies needed during your stay can easily be picked up locally.
