Welcome to Mandan House! This classic 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Folly Beach home that sleeps up to 6 guests. It's an easy walk, bike ride, or drive, being only 1 block away from the closest public beach access. Perfectly placed on the west side of Folly Beach and only about 1/2 mile from Center Street where all of the shops, restaurants, & bars are located. Families with littles, there is even the gated "Wave Park" (playground) less than 2 blocks away. 

Mandan House will welcome you with high ceilings and an open floor plan showcasing earthy colors of neutrality with pops of red. You will find the two guest bedrooms equipped with one queen bed in each room located on the right side of the home. The shared full bathroom is located in the middle of the two bedrooms for easy access. One of the bedrooms does have direct access to the bathroom. As you pass the chef's kitchen, you will enter the dining and relaxing living room area. Make your way to the screened in porch take reflect on the day's memories or pop into the reading nook to sit back and relax. The reading area is connected to the second guest bedroom but has the capability to be private with double doors.

Upstairs via the spiral staircase, you will find the primary bedroom with a king bed, ensuite bathroom and direct access to a sunroom, & the roof top deck where you will find glimpses of the Atlantic Ocean.

Absolutely NO house parties, youth groups, fraternities, sororities, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc. allowed in the home. Property is in a residential neighborhood with a 24/7 noise ordinance enforced.

Public beach access is only a few minute walk away. Go into the Folly Beach downtown area, 0.5 miles, to wander through local shops, markets (seasonal & holidays), listen to live entertainment, and eat at one of our local restaurants. All restaurants and shops are open year-round. Get out on the water to take a fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, or dolphin watching tour from a licensed guide. Surfing lessons are available through several companies and instructors. Stroll down the Folly Beach Pier on Center Street, or find the local and tourist favorite Morris Island Lighthouse beach at the far east end of the island for wow-worthy Instagram shots! 

Just a short, 20-minute drive will have you to historical, downtown Charleston to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer. Here you will experience world-class dining, swanky boutiques, souvenir shopping along The Market, harbor views from The Battery and Waterfront Park, theater, comedy clubs, museums, grand churches, history, carriage and ghost tours, plus so much more. Customize your memorable trip to this historical city. Take the kids to the Children's Museum and the South Carolina Aquarium. Immerse yourself and the family in the Southern culture.

Parking for up to 4 vehicles is available at the home and is complimentary. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly. Check-in is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am.

Mandan House has all modern amenities to make your vacation one of comfort and ease. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, keyless entry, contactless check-in, central heat and A/C, washer/dryer, outdoor shower/changing area, and high-end appliances. A starter supply of toiletries will be provided and up to the guest to replenish as needed. Home is non-smoking. No pets allowed. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of 6 people in the home, regardless of sleeping or visiting. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. Property is handled through Carolina One Vacation Rentals and has 24-hr on-call maintenance services. Please contact us with any additional questions, or assistance booking.
