Blue Pearl has you staying close enough to all of the action and the ocean - only 1 block to all shops, restaurants, entertainment, and walking distance to the beach! You'll be living like a local. Find your preferred relaxation spot on one of the 2 full-length porches, in the hammock, or the outdoor shaded seating area. The lush yard is fenced in, so it is perfect for your family pet to tag along. Grill meals on the gas grill(propane provided), use the outdoor shower after a long day at the beach, sit by the firepit, and shoot some hoops in the evening at the provided basketball hoop.
Enter the open living room as you walk through the front door, which leads into the dining room and fully stocked, updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Bar seating for 2 allows your kids or friends to entertain you while cooking. Dining room has a long table for seating up to 8 people, eating family meals, and gathering together to play card games in the evenings. Stretch out on the sectional sofa in the living room to watch TV. Hardwood floors and coastal décor throughout give the home a clean, fresh, cozy feel. The half bathroom is located off of the living area. 3 bedrooms are found on the second floor with the 2 remaining full bathrooms. Large king master bedroom has a TV and large closet. The private, full master bathroom is inclusive of a standing shower with a seat, garden tub for soaking, and double vanity. Queen bedroom down the hall has a view of the porch and lots of light. Third bedroom is perfect for the kids with a set of twin bunk beds, and a fold down full futon. Just outside in the hall is the full bathroom for these two rooms to share. Second floor hallway has access to the upstairs covered porch, if you just need a little escape from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house. Take the stairs off the main floor hall down to the ground floor game room, 3rd full bathroom, and 4th bedroom! Challenge your friends and family to a friendly game of pool in the game room at the full-size pool table. Kick back in the lounging area cheering on the players with a cool beverage made at the wet bar. A great place to put the kids for a movie is in the 4th bedroom on the queen futon. The game room provides easy access to a porch to where you can dine outdoors on the picnic table.
This quaint property feels like your own single family home, only sharing a back wall with the other half of the duplex. All areas of the home are private, and no common areas or entrances shared with the other side. Enjoy the large outdoor shower on the side of the home and hang out in the landscaped yard while dinner is grilled out on the charcoal grill. Parking for 4 standard sized vehicles is free in the driveway on the property. Street parking is free and first come, first serve for any other vehicles joining your group. Fresh linens and towels are provided for the maximum occupancy of the home. Check-in is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am.
Head into town one block away to wander through Center Street shops and restaurants. Take a walk down or fish from the second longest fishing pier on the east coast, the Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier. Close by beach accesses with life guards on duty near the hotel during peak season months. Bike to the far east end of Folly, down E. Ashley Ave, to the ¼ mile walking path leading to the picturesque beach to take in the serene view of Morris Island Lighthouse. The farthest point at the west of the island has the Folly Beach County Park and more manned lifeguard stations. Several local tour companies offer paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, and shelling tours, sunset cruises for dolphin watching, as well as surfing lessons. Historic downtown Charleston is a mere 25 minute drive away. Neighboring towns of James Island, Johns Island, Mount Pleasant, Isle Of Palms, & Wild Dunes all have something special to offer, whether you are a foodie, into golf, historic sites, or craft brews.
Blue Pearl is strictly non-smoking and is a family vacation rental. Home is pet-friendly with a $125 non-refundable pet fee plus tax, per pet, which would need to be paid directly through the property management company after booking if you would like to bring any furry companions. Amenities include Wi-Fi, cable TV, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, central heat and air conditioning, 24-hour emergency on-call staff. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. We hope to see you soon!
