Welcome to Afternoon Delight at 315 Shadow Race on Folly Beach! This spacious, pet friendly, charming folly home is one of the largest 3 bedroom properties on Folly Beach. At over 2,100 sq ft, this home truly lives large! The home has been completely renovated and has a unique design with brand new furniture and appliances throughout. Located on a quiet street, Afternoon Delight is perfect for the family. Streets in the neighborhood around the house are not busy through streets, so it's safe for kids riding bicycles in the area. Enjoy a short walk or bike ride to the beach and to downtown Folly Beach where you'll find local restaurants, shops, entertainment, and more. This beach house will feel like your home away from year after year!

You will love the open floorplan this home has to offer. Kitchen and living areas are on the top floor with a full length covered deck to enjoy the ocean breezes. The kitchen is fully stocked with all new appliances throughout. The dining area has plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy a family meal together. Living area has a flat-screen TV and ample seating for the rare rainy day on Folly. 3rd bedroom on top floor is the perfect spot for the kids with the double daybed and twin trundle pull out bed, as well as a connecting door to the full bathroom. Full bath is also accessible from living room area. The entire house has a coastal feel with beach-centric artwork and finishing touches. Grab a book and have a seat in the lounge area. Find your zen and try out a Yoga routine to revitalize your spirit.

The two massive bedrooms are on the first floor. The first room features King size bed and flat-screen TV. The second bedroom features two queen beds and flat-screen TV. The 2 bedrooms share a large Jack-n-Jill bathroom setup. Both bedrooms have access to a private toilet/sink area and they share a walk-in shower and Jacuzzi tub. The home has new linens and bedding throughout.

Grill out on the gas grill found on the backyard patio. Relax in the Adirondack chairs to lounge in the sun or share stories in the evening while the kids run around in the backyard. Outdoor shower is located behind the house for washing off the sand and sunscreen after a fun day at the beach. House is in a neighborhood setting to make you feel like a Folly Beach local!

Don't feel like driving? Two bikes (1 adult, 1 child) are provided at the property for your use to get around the island. The ground level has two garage bays for your vehicles and where you will find the bikes, beach equipment, and beach toys. There is also ample parking in the driveway outside of the garage. Center Street is the downtown area on the island where all shops, restaurants, and entertainment are located. The public beach is only a 10 minute walk away, public beach access is straight up the walking path that connects to 3rd Street. The shops, restaurants, and entertainment of downtown Folly Beach on Center Street are also only a few blocks away.

Home includes all of the modern conveniences you would expect, high-speed WIFI, cable TV, washer/dryer, etc. Home is strictly non-smoking, $125 pet fee plus tax applies per pet, maximum of 2 pets allowed. This property was absolutely stunning! It's easily one of the most picturesque places I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. Rental property was perfect, good location, and very clean with comfortable beds. Beautifully decorated inside the home. I have stayed in three other rentals over the years and this home was superior compared to the others and rental price was very affordable

We had a great time and enjoyed the home. There is a ping-pong table now in the garage which was a pleasant surprise. There are no bicycles for future guests to know about. We did not need them due to renting a golf cart. The steps getting into the house are steep but most houses in Folly have the same setup. The living spaces are really nice and the rooms are spacious. Love having different surfboards available. We are planning our stay for next year in the same house.

We had a great stay!! The customer service was amazing! The AC stopped working during the late afternoon on a Saturday, and they sent someone out and it was fixed within an hour. The house was clean and had plenty of room to accommodate 5 adults, a toddler, infant, and dog comfortably. We would choose to stay here again!

We had a great weekend staying at Afternoon Delight. The house was perfect for our group and the location was great. We were able to walk everywhere, including the beach. Once you find the cut-through paths, the beach is a straight shot from the house. I hope we get the opportunity to stay there again.

The home was airy and spacious and a fun place to gather for family. Comfy seating around tv and large round table for eating and playing our Dominoes game. Easy 7 minute walk to the beach and driving access to Harris Teeter. The beds felt divine. Kitchen well stocked with needed supplies. Phone representative at Folly Beach office was always delightful and accessible.

This house is in a really great location! Quiet street and only 5-10 minute walk to the beach! We have stayed in several different houses on Folly including right on the beach and this house location and value was the best!! It is also a short walk to The Lost Dog Cafe and to all the shops and restaurants on Center St. This house and yard was also very dog friendly and since we were traveling with dogs this was very important.

The property is an excellent price point with great value, tons of space and lots of outdoor amenities to relax and enjoy. The owner definitely went above and beyond to provide bikes, beach equipment, kids toys, yard games and more for our enjoyment. Plenty of outdoor seating and a nice grill. Not to mention the spacious yard for the pups to play in. The house is very spacious, clean, and modern. The bedrooms are huge. A big plus. The Bathrooms were spacious and nicely equipped.

We had a great time and enjoyed the home. There is a ping-pong table now in the garage which was a pleasant surprise. There are no bicycles for future guests to know about.
