Welcome to 3 Little Mermaids! This classic Folly Beach, oceanfront side-by-side duplex, located at 1403 E. Ashley Avenue-Unit A, is right near the Washout, on beautiful Folly Beach. Wake up to ocean views from 3 of the 4 bedrooms, and have coffee on the large oceanfront deck while watching Folly's famous sunrises. The open floor plan on the 2nd level allows for more open ocean views through the large windows lining the beach side of the home, and flowing conversation through the living area, dining area, and kitchen. Direct beach access from the property leads down into lots of sand, swimming, and sun!
As you enter the property, you will find one full bathroom (inclusive of washing machine & dryer) off of the hallway, near all 4 bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms has one queen size bed. Three of these bedrooms have ocean views and you'll be lulled to sleep listening to the waves.
Head up the staircase to the second level of this side-by-side duplex. The spacious open area greets you with spectacular ocean views, the living area, dining area, kitchen, and access to the street side deck. You'll never be separated from the fun in this space! Chill on the couches to watch the game or sit by the window with a good book in the naturally well-lit sitting area. Cook in the quaint, newly remodeled kitchen while watching the waves and dolphins. Then, easily transfer to the large dining table, where everyone can enjoy meals together with extra seating around the bar. The second full bathroom is easily accessible, around the corner from the kitchen.
Drive or ride your bicycles into the downtown area of Folly Beach, about 2 miles away. Here you will find our local restaurants, beach shops, rent a kayak or paddle board, catch a fishing or dolphin tour, or take a stroll down the Folly Beach Fishing Pier, the 2nd longest fishing pier on the East Coast. Want more history and a night out on the town? Just a short, 20-minute drive will have you to historical, downtown Charleston, SC to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer!
Some beach chairs are provided for your convenience to lighten your car load for the trip. Unit B of this duplex is a second home for the homeowner, and remains mainly unoccupied. Home only shares a middle wall, splitting the duplex. All entrances, living areas, and outside areas are private for your use. Home is non-smoking and not pet friendly. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. No events or parties allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home.
