Stay at Tigers Roost

We enjoyed our stay at Tiger's Roost! Location was great! It is an older place with some upgrades but overall very livable. Lights are generally very dim. Definitely not luxury but has character. We would stay at Tiger's Roost again. Had too problems; no A/C and no TV but they were quickly resolved by our host!

Tiger's Roost

Tiger's Roost was the most quincentennial Edisto beach house. Some say it's dated but that's the beauty of this place. We've been enjoying Edisto Beach for 50 + years and this is the classic Edisto Beach experience. Tiger's Roost is roomy, great bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable, easy path to the beach, plenty of parking and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would rent it again. Thank you

Tigers Roost

The house is somewhat dated but its your historical Carolina beach house. The downstairs roof leaked and one of the couches and floor got wet. We had some ants in the kitchen and my son found a few fleas on him which was interesting since they don't allow pets. All things considered, we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent

Tigers Roost was a wonderful house for our weekend stay for a wedding. Had all amenities we needed and extra special being beachfront and having the awesome deck. Will definitely consider staying there in the future.

Great vacation

We very much enjoyed our stay at Tigers Roost. The location is absolutely gorgeous. Some updates in furniture for the patio, including an umbrella, would make things even more enjoyable. The house was clean and comfortable. Overall a very nice, relaxing stay.

Great Traditional Beach House

Our family had a great two weeks at Edisto at Tiger's Roost. We love the traditional beach houses, having had family friends on Edisto for decades who had a beach-front traditional house dating from the '50s. While the house has all the aesthetic of a traditional beach house, the kitchen was updated and very well equipped, which was great for us, as the whole family enjoys cooking. Bathrooms, also, were nicely updated, especially the master bath. The wifi worked well, and the air conditioning had no problems. In previous years we've been in houses on Palmetto, and we really enjoyed being on Point Street, one row back from the main drag. Some of our family members thought the living area was oddly arranged, but others thought it was just fine, providing a couple of different seating areas. On a scale of 1-10, we'd rate Tiger's Roost a solid 8. We plan on returning to Tiger's Roost again next year.
