Sound Pleasures

We don't get to Edisto every year, but when we are able to come, we bring the whole family with us. This year the vote was unanimous: Sound Pleasures is the best house we've rented from Carolina One so far. The house was very comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We love to cook and didn't lack anything. We all enjoyed the common living area, which is comfortable and spacious. The back porch got lots of use, hours in the rocking chairs, watching the water and reading. We look forward to another stay at Sound Pleasures in the near future!

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and nicely furnished house. I loved that the kitchen had plenty of pots, pans and utensils. Beds were comfortable, A/C worked well, good internet. The septic tank needed pumping while we were there and the office got it sorted quickly the same day.

The space at Sound Pleasure accommodated our family perfectly! The dunes are beautiful and the beach access is great. Morning coffee on the back porch is a must and the sunsets are the best. However, the house needs a good decluttering. The house is so overstuffed that it’s unappealing to live in, hard to cook in, or to clean the kitchen.

35th year at Sound Pleasures with more memories made. We are now visiting with our 3rd generation in tow. Again, we appreciate the upgrades to the decking and boardwalk. The house was very welcoming as usual. One thing we did notice was an over abundance of clutter in all rooms of the house, which leaves very little room for personal belongings.Just things that have been added. With that being said, our vacation was wonderful as usual. Thanks! S.Stubbs

The keurig downstairs does not work. Also we were the party beach July 4th. I love the house but would like a place past block 35. The house was great!!!!

Sound Pleasures has a great “beach house” feel to it. The wood walls and ceilings make the house very comfortable and inviting. The kitchen had everything we could ask for, while preparing several big meals. The staff at Carolina One was very courteous and attentive.

This was our first visit to Edisto, and we had a wonderful time! The house was great but needed a few easy fixes. The kitchen sink dripped. The refrigerator and the freezer took a day to cool, and some of the screens have come loose on the doors but can be easily repaired Things we loved included the beautiful view and the easy access to the beach! The screened porch was a favorite too! The den area was spacious for our crowd and parking was not a problem. The customer service was outstanding at Carolina One. Everyone we came in contact with from check-in to check-out was stellar. This will not be our last trip to Edisto! Thanks for a beautiful vacation with lots of memories made with our family. Edisto was good to us!

Once again, another great family vacation at Sound Pleasures. This was our 33rd year at Sound Pleasures. While our vacation was nothing short of spectacular, I feel the owners need to address some issues on the boardwalk to the beach. Areas around the shower were coming apart, and some rot in certain areas. It needs a complete overhaul in my opinion. Thank you Carolina One for your continued stellar customer service.
