This was our second visit to Edisto Beach and we enjoyed our stay at Serenity Now both times. The comfortable space worked well for us and had most everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped. Sitting on the rockers on the porch reading in the afternoon, or watching the Cedar Waxwings in the trees across the street each morning was both relaxing and exciting. The location was great! We loved the fact that the beach and bike trail were only a few steps away and our dog thoroughly enjoyed his daily walks on both. Having Whaley's across the street was convenient when we didn't feel like cooking after a day of adventuring on the beach, at the state park, or at Botany Bay. We're looking forward to returning next year!

My family had a wonderful stay at Serenity Now. Beautiful home with a comfortable place for everyone. Serenity Now definitely felt like our home away from home. We cannot wait to stay there next year. Serenity Now, 10/10, highly recommend.

House was awesome! Had everything we expected and more. Comfortable, charming and clean. I stayed in back bedroom and noticed house swayed when going to bed, some nights more than others, usually side to side. We did have a pitcher of water on table that we confirmed the swaying. Maybe that is normal for houses on stilts?

And yes - you’re absolutely right to wonder! Homes built on stilts, especially near the coast, are designed to have a slight amount of movement. This flexibility helps them withstand coastal winds and shifting conditions more safely. It’s completely normal to feel a bit of that sway from time to time, especially during windy evenings or when multiple people are moving around the home.

The house vibrated. It was fine, but it would be nice to confirm that house wasn’t going to fall. Perhaps if others feel the movement you’ll be able to let them know the structure is sound! Six adults could not comfortably sleep there. Wish we could have enjoyed basement area, but it was too hot. It was awesome to have frig and freezer in basement!! Appreciated quick response from office when we were in need of more pillow cases and light bulbs!!! Your service is awesome. All inquiries were met with quick and courteous responses !!!!

We loved staying at this pretty little beach cottage. The decor and artwork were so pretty to look at and the ceiling that had ceiling molding gave the interior such charm. Our favorite furniture was the large dining table and chairs! The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and dishware. The front porch was lovely, and we especially enjoyed the table of shells that commemorated former visitor stays at the cottage. We left a pretty bright white oyster shell with our name and date! We enjoyed the privacy that the outdoor landscaping provided and the outdoor area to rinse off after returning from the short walk to the beach. Overall, a wonderful vacation for our family of four in Edisto at Serenity Now!

Loved the roomy interior and open floor plan. Really enjoyed the peaceful side porch with rockers. The patio underneath could be awesome with some attention to the overgrowth of trees, bushes and debris. Kitchen was well equipped for this cook but the charcoal grill was inconvenient in comparison to a gas grill. We really enjoyed the porch, but would recommend a gate at the top of the stairs to keep kids and pets safe. Would stay here again!

Loved this place! It was clean and easy access to everything. Check in and out was a breeze. Kitchen had everything I needed. Cornhole boards were a plus and the hanging chairs..wow! Will definitely be back

Loved staying here. Perfect for a small family. Had everything we needed. We had tons of room for large family dinner as well. Perfect distance to the beach so you could shake the sand off walking back. Only regret was we didn't use the outdoor living area as much as we should have. Next time…

Checking in was easy, people friendly and helpful. The house was centrally located with a short, easy walk to beach. The house was clean and well organized with everything we could need. Beds were comfortable, a/c excellent and water pressure amazing. Make sure to visit Botany Bay and Serpentarium.

Stayed at Serenity Now. Our house was wonderful and well appointed. Had zero problems. Enjoyed the lack of hustle and bustle in the area and the quietness. We will be back for a more extended stay! All of the local folks were very friendly and accommodating . What a great change of pace for us!!

Great place. Really enjoyed our time on Edisto Island! The house is nicely done and was perfect for me an my wife. Very comfortable! Access to the beach was awesome. I was only about 200 yards. We will go again.

Super close to the beach. Maybe 1 minute on a golf cart! The whole family loved the space, furniture and corn hole under the house. Would stay here again!
