Sea Byrd

The house being situated about midway between Jungle Rd and Palmetto on a quiet street was great. We are a group of long time friends and family that try to stay on Edisto each year. The house was as expected after seeing photos online. Clean, a few minor quirks, well supplied for most cooking needs. Bedding was fresh, everything was clean, no sandy dirty floors, plenty of seating. Spacious outdoor shower. Though screens on porch could be replaced, (no issues with mosquitos or gnats) Would be nice if the fridge had an icemaker. We had room though for bags of it and coolers. I would suggest that the owner remove the curved piece of plastic lattice by the downstairs sink, several people walked into it when turning around. HVAC was working great. Overall everyone like the house and we'd definitely rent it again in the future. Carolina One staff are so gracious, greeted me like family, they were quick and efficient as well.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Byrd. Accommodations were good enough. Perfect spot to the beach. Family time was great.

Needs more light in bedrooms. Everything else very nice

House is at perfect location. Faces west so you don’t get in your eyes at any point of day. Furnitures is uncomfortable and has a waxy, unclean feeling to it and the vacuum didn’t work, preventing us from cleaning any (which we wanted to do) during our stay. We love the location and the “golf carts only” beach access right across the street. All the neighbors are friendly and we just love the house and location. Will return every year.

We stayed at SeaByrd several years ago. We noticed new improvements since our previous visit. A new frig and range and washer/dryer was installed. Very nice. New fixtures in bathroom too.Thanks for moving the washer/dryer out on the bedroom. Nice furniture on the porch. Note: The bedrooms could use a little more lighting is the only improvement needed.
