Sea Biscuit

Loved: location and setting (easy beach walk, lots of trees); space for guests to "move in" (plenty of drawer and closet space in the bedrooms and bathrooms); well-stocked kitchen (plenty of dishes); both porches are great; upstairs laundry is great; nice outdoor space under house; the availability of box fans in each bedroom was really nice Suggestions for improvement: a table on the screened porch; outdoor furniture that doesn't draw in dampness; new mattress on the queen bed on the marsh side of the house (this was the worse bed ever); if the house sleeps 12, seating for 12 would be great (even folding chairs would be something) We had an extraordinary amount of rain during our stay. We understand that is out of anyone's control. But two issues resulting from the rain were ants (which maintenance handled promptly, but the ants came back after a few days) and a great deal of standing water in the yard which not only created a mosquito problem but smelled like sewage. On the positive side, the parking pad under the house remained dry. Overall, we loved this house. As stated in the title, we booked it again for next summer!

Great location for walking to beach. Big screen porch. Bedroom layout excellent with 2 bedrooms on either side of great room.

House and service was great! Enjoyed our stay. As you may know there are maintenance issues; door knobs/locks on front and back entry doors need replacing; ceiling fans are bit noisy due to bearings going bad, leaking gutters over back door are causing wood rot. Just FYI.

We enjoyed our stay on Edisto in Sea Biscuit and would definitely return to this rental. The walk was fast and easy to the beach. The home was very clean and roomy. My favorite part of the house was the huge screened in front porch! Carolina One was very responsive to any questions/issues we had during our stay. Definitely recommend!

Houses a bit older. Need some work. Owners are obviously invested in doing that very reasonably priced experience we had. Beach is extremely short walk away. So location is awesome. We loved our experience. The rental company was extremely easy to work with through the whole process.

We had an awesome small family reunion in Edisto Beach this year and the Seabiscuit was out HQ. It was a great layout and 2 blocks from the beach which was a nice 3 minute walk. The home was in great shape overall and had everything we needed. The linens/towels were folded in bags for us ready when we got there and they provided enough paper goods for the first day until we were able to go to the grocery store. Great experience.
