So wonderful to return year after year to the MS Whaley! I wondered about the new linen system but it was good. Especially enjoyed the gifts of the dishwashing soap and paper towels. The kitchen was great and didn't have to purchase many of the "little items" such as salt and pepper. Had one little problem with the DVD but worked it out ourselves. Like the old days the person on duty was planning to drop a new one by that evening. It was a wonderful week and we plan on coming back to this wonderful house next year.

This is the perfect house for an original Edisto experience when air conditioning wasn’t a priority and the emphasis was on the ocean, the breeze and the sea turtles. We loved the rustic interior. With temperatures in the 90s it would have been a little more comfortable to have AC. We think the system may need to be cleaned, but everything else was perfect!

With the intense heat and humidity that we are currently experiencing HVAC systems can certainly struggle to keep up especially during the hottest times of the day. The unit at this home did undergo an annual inspection in May 2023 and all was reported as functioning properly. We would love to be your host on Edisto during any season!
