We stay in this house a week or two every year and so look forward to it. From the moment we first walked in we have felt at home. To say we love this house is an understatement. If you are interested in a low key, quiet, relaxing vacation with beautiful views all around, we recommend that you try Moon Rise Point. If you expect perfection and highly detailed decor, this is not the place for you. If you want clean comfort surrounded by natures beauty, you’ll be in heaven here. If you stay, please take care of the house as if it’s yours and be respectful so the house can be there for us to enjoy for many years to come. We appreciate the owners sharing this jewel with us so please respect their property.

We enjoyed this vacation. The house is fantastic and met all our expectations. The views from the various rooms were to die for. The staff at Carolina One responded quickly to the one request we had which entailed getting the gas fireplace working. The elevator was an essential component of our stay because of our elderly grands and it worked flawlessly. We had such fun here as a family. caught lots of fish and were able to dock our boat close to the house. In the way of critique, it would be great to have a fish cleaning station on the garage level. Some lights in the back of the house and on the dock would be great. All in all we had a wonderful time and would consider this as a future rental.

This home offers panoramic views of an everchanging tidal creek onto the ocean. We were fortunate to stay during a full moon with king tides. We are not one to just sit on the beach all week - so we booked this home that allows great options. We brought our paddleboards, small boat, bikes, running shoes, fishing rods and crab traps....and we enjoyed all of this and more!! Seclusion and quiet - we loved the privacy this home offered due to the location all the way to the back of The Hammocks. Thank you to the owners, as we are very grateful and appreciative for our great week at Moonrise Point!!

This exactly met my expectations and hopes according to what shown in the pics! I honestly wanted to be in Charleston and mistook Edisto Island as a community within Charleston, but I'm really glad we were here. My family needed a place that was secluded and not around a bunch of tourist attractions that would have compelled us to be busy everyday. We were able to be still and let the ocean lull us into a serenity in a way Charleston wouldn't have allowed. We did go to Charleston twice which speaks to the convenience of the location relative to Charleston. Reginald, Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We value your feedback!
