Marsh Mellow

As always this house was our oasis! It’s perfectly located and has everything we could ever need. The views are breathtaking and the house truly feels like our home for the week. Carolina One was communicative and wonderful as usual. The 10 out of 10 we have come to expect from the home and agency we have come to expect!

Honestly, we probably won't ever choose a different location at Edisto. The setting on the marsh was spectacular. The screened in back porch offered great enjoyment of such a serene setting. Gorgeous sunsets. The home was lovely. Light, airy, spacious. The only thing that would improve the stay is better mattresses. They are doable for a long weekend, but I'm not sure about a week. Very firm indeed! Location is walkable to the Sea Cow Eatery and to the ocean. Wonderful stay.

We truly loved this house with the secluded location and amazing views that it offered. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. The team at Carolina One was very responsive with any issues that needed attention. We would stay at this house every trip to Edisto if it were pet friendly but will keep it as first choice for the trips we travel solo.

Our stay at Marsh Mellow was nothing short of perfect. We went to celebrate my mom’s birthday and I knew as soon as I saw this house online it was the one for her. The living room is so spacious with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone and was well stocked with games and puzzles for a rainy day. The kitchen was the most well-stocked of any rental we’ve ever stayed in…down to the huge pots for low country boil and a collection of wonderful cookbooks. The screened porch put back stole the show for me. The low fog in the mornings was magical for enjoying a cup of coffee and listening to the marsh come to life. In the evenings, the sunsets are just incredible. It’s one of those places you just don’t want to leave. Anita has a fantastic library of books and we loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. We are already looking forward to staying here again. This precious owner is southern hospitality at its finest and the Carolina One team was just wonderful to work with. Thank you again for everything…my mama said it was one of her best birthdays ever.

Carolina One Edisto was a friendly, professional, courteous and helpful rental group; a pleasure throughout the process. The house was lovely inside and out, was fully stocked and has an excellent screened in porch, the views on which could not be beat. We only wished it was easier to get to fishing access from this location.

We really enjoy the spectacular views, and the house itself! The only issue we had was the front railing, it had rotted and came off when using it, and I had tweaked my knee. Definitely something that needs to be fixed ASAP.
