Making Memories

We loved this house - location, house itself, well equipped kitchen, everything. My only wish would be a king bed in the primary suite. The queen bed just seemed smaller. Other than that, it's perfect! Highly recommend this house!

We have been vacationing at Edisto for 18 years and this property is our favorite. We love staying at Making Memories! The location is great, the house is well appointed, the only wish I have is for at least one king bed, however I know this isn't realistic given the size of the bedrooms. BUT we loved our stay at Edisto, as always.

Wonderful updated beach home, pet friendly so it felt like the whole family could enjoy the holiday. Nice outdoor space under the house with swings, gas firepit (we thoroughly enjoyed on cold nights), tv (couldn't figure out how to turn the channels though). The beds were comfy and was nice having unlimited hot water for everyone to get a nice warm shower without having to wait on it to warm up. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us!

We liked the new design of this home. We stayed with the previous owners and it was fine however it's much more comfortable now. Being in the design industry, I can appreciate the choices that were made with the renovation. Our perfect location and time of year to stay on Edisto! We will be back.

We stayed there last week and love all the updates to the house. This was our third year in a row staying there. We will be back next year if the price doesn’t go up, it is at the high side for our budget. Love Edisto!

This is probably the 4th year we have stayed at Making Memories and the first after the house was renovated. Let me they have done a marvelous job with the renovations. Everything is new and super attractive. The location is super convenient also. Could’nt ask for a better place.

This is our second year at 2204 Jenkins, the first with the new owners and Carolina One. We were thrilled at the improvements that have been made. These include a beautiful new kitchen with new countertop, floor, and appliances, two renovated bathrooms, newly painted and light walls (as opposed to the dark wood previously). Additionally, all of the furnishings are new, bright and functional. The kitchen utensils are extensive and will please any level of cooking enthusiast. The back porch has been completely rebuilt and is a lovely, safe sitting area. All of this, and the house is only one block from the beach. What more could one ask? Unfortunately, we had to cut our six-week stay short due to a medical emergency, but are hopeful we may be able to return next year. We found Carolina One to be competent, cooperative and kind both before and after we found we needed to depart early. You can trust that you will be in good hands if you rent this house.

Another great summer vacation at the beach at Hurricane Haven/ Making Memories Thank you for upgrading the back deck. We love this beach house and the memories we are making each summer. Really did enjoy this vacation. It was peaceful and quiet, just what I wanted. Access to the beach was also perfect. Our only problem was the picture at the table fell on me and hit my elbow. Fortunately, the picture did not break as far as I know. Other than that everything else was great.
