Excellent

Loved the property. Lots of shade was a nice plus. House was wonderful and well appointed. Not a difficult walk to the beach. Highly recommend. Favorite thing was the outdoor shower.

Thank you for the excellent rating and the high recommendation! We are so glad Dragonfly checked all the boxes - the shade, the easy beach walk, and that outdoor shower are some of our favorite features too. There is nothing quite like rinsing off after a day at the beach! We hope to welcome you back again soon.

Great beach home on a quiet side street

This is the second time my family has stayed at the Dragonfly, and we would do so again. The location was perfect! Even though it's on a quiet side street, it's a short walk to the beach. The porches are amazing! The screened-in side porch was good for breakfast. The front porch has ample shade and ceiling fans, making it our favorite hangout spot. There was a minor repair needed. The toilet in the back bathroom needed a new handle (if you didn't lift back up on it several times and then jiggle it, the tank would not fill up with water). Our only major complaint was the mattresses—they were terrible. They were hard and would squeak with each movement. Other than that, we had no complaints and would gladly stay here again.

Lora,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the Dragonfly on Edisto Beach. We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the location and the wonderful porches. We appreciate your feedback regarding the toilet handle and were happy to be able to promptly repair it. Additionally, we have noted your comments about the mattresses. Please know that the homeowners replaced a few of the mattresses prior to the current rental season, and we will share your feedback with them as they plan for any future updates. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back to the Dragonfly for another enjoyable stay.
Best Regards,

Carolina one saved our vacation

We initially booked a different house with a different realtor. When we got to the house it was not what was expected and we could not stay there, but the other company was completely booked for the week. Carolina one was very quick to respond to help us find a new home for the week. They were amazing. Without there help we would have had to turn around and drive 16 hrs home. Thank you so much for a great week!!

Matthew,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We value your feedback! We are so pleased that we are able to assist with making your vacation at Dragonfly on Edisto Beach enjoyable and memorable. We would love to be your host on Edisto during any season. We are always a phone call away!

Dragonfly review

Loved the house - only two concerns are the dryer as it makes an awful squeaking noise after it’s been running for a few (the drum itself is making the noise) and fans on the lower level would help too! Overall a great house and the ease of check in and out was great with Carolina one.

Garrett,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We value your feedback! We are so pleased that your group enjoyed an excellent vacation at Dragonfly on Edisto Beach. We will have the local appliance technician check the dryer to ensure that it's functioning properly. We will share your suggestion about the ground level fans with the homeowners who are always interested in enhancing their guest's experiences. We would love to be your host on Edisto during any season. We are always a phone call away!

Great Location & Lots of Shade

The Dragonfly is nestled behind lots of trees and Edisto wildlife making it the ideal vacation rental. After a hot day at the beach, which is a very easy and short walk away, you can count on this home to provide ample shade and plenty of porch living opportunities. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and the layout of the house was very spacious. Unfortunately, the mattresses in this home are not created equal and several of our guests had to rotate sleeping on the couch in order to get any sleep. This hiccup and a loveseat replacement (cushioning worn) would improve our rating in the future.

Joseph,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We value your feedback! We are pleased that you found Dragonfly on Edisto Beach to be conveniently located and well stocked. We are happy to report that the home owners are replacing the living room furniture and twin mattresses ahead of the 2024 rental season. We would love to invite you back for an even more enjoyable stay during any season. We are always a phone call away!
