Nice cottage! A bit musty from being closed up perhaps? Screens would have been nice but the warm weather was probably unexpected. Nice walk to the beach! We had a great time. Thank you.

The yard at The Corner Pocket is wonderful! Because we were there in February, there was a lot of tree debris on the ground, but we just piled it up, so no problem. It is a noisy location - everyday. Just know that and go with the attitude that the yard makes it worth it. The location is very convenient to the beach. It's an easy and pleasant stroll to access 25. Some improvements could be made to the furniture, but we enjoyed our two plus weeks in the house. Carolina One was beyond helpful and accommodating for the issue we had with the washing machine. I can't praise them enough.

Corner Pocket is a nice little house, it is good for a family of four or four adults. The location is not real desirable because of the noise from the sanitation department and the city offices. The fenced yard for pet is really nice. The kitchen could use a few more "gadgets" to make cooking and preparing meals easier. The furniture could use an update, it is very uncomfortable. We had a nice time, despite the little discrepancies. I would recommend a screen door for the back especially in the fall when the fresh air can flow in. Carolina One is a good agency to work with.

The fenced in yard for the dog was great, it is fenced in completely so that you can open the back door and let the dog go down the stairs and out into the yard. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching traffic (more golf carts, joggers, and cyclists than cars). I saw deer twice run from under/behind the house to across the road. I only heard noise from the recycling place around 7am most days when I was awake. It was not loud enough to wake me up if I was still asleep and was not a problem for me any other time. I drove to the beach because I like the accesses on the end, but I estimate it’s about a 3 block walk to the beach access directly across from the road the house is on. I will definitely be back. A couple ideas for improvement would be a couch in the living room (currently only love seats) and the recliner doesn’t seem to be functioning properly. When you recline, it actually angles forward with your feet hanging down. The shower is pretty small and hard to use without the shower curtain sticking to you, one of those curved rods may help with that.

Loved all the palms Facilities were fine Close to the beach Kitchen roomy and clean Bad: and I can't suggest any non-chemical ways to deal this: mosquitoes were everywhere in the back yard.

This house is older, smaller and perfect for us! We are not into glamour and new. We like the feel of a bygone era and the Corner Pocket provides that for us. We have been here for several years, it's a short walk or golf cart ride to beach accesses and lots of activity with the police and fire stations plus the recycling area. There's still lots of wildlife although the numbers have dwindled due to development. If you are like us and want the slow pace of Edisto in a quaint cottage, then the Corner Pocket is the place to stay!

The screened in front porch and the giant back yard for our dog were stellar! The couple of minute walk to the beach…awesome! Perfect house and beach location! The vibe of the island …can’t beat!
