When we reported we needed bath mats they were quickly dispatched. The best thing about the house was the gazebo and beach. Many butterflies were migrating and we got to see them up close in the gazebo and beach. There were also migrating raptors up so high catching the wind currents it was just spectacular. The sunset were so beautiful . Much time was outside enjoying nature.

This is an older home, but is located oceanfront and that was what I wanted. Having nothing but single beds was also different, but it was something I knew in advance. It is something that I would consider again in the future. The only thing that I didn't like was the half bathroom. It was like it was designed for a small child and not an adult. No one would use it.

We love anchor inn and have stayed there three times. We enjoyed the improvements to the gazebo . Our only request is that you replace the den furniture. The small chairs are very uncomfortable and we lost several members in your couch!!

We like the old school feel of the house. We’ve stayed there the last 3-4 years in a row. And reserved our spot for next year. Waterfront is good, price is the best waterfront we’ve found for are little family of 4. Two things we’d like to see for our future trips. Would like to see a new couch and at least a queen size bed in there somewhere. We appreciate yall and always enjoy are time there. Ready to be back. Thank yall

We loved the location, access to the beach, front porch, and the outdoor shower. The house is older but well taken care of and you can't beat the location. We had a great time and the house was very comfortable for our party of 6.

The house is in a perfect location on the Sound with the Atlantic only a short walk along the beach. Lots of greenery around the house helps with privacy and the wind in the palm trees is lovely. Also the growth is home to many birds. The kitchen is well-stocked. The house was clean and pleasant when we arrived. Carolina One is a dream to work with. Virtually immediate responses to questions via email. Professional and courteous. It was a wonderful week.

Well equipped with kitchen wares. Full bathroom and outdoor showers located off parking pad for easy access from beach.Beach chairs, beach toys available also. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 young children. Enjoyed the big size table where everyone could eat and play games. The twin beds my husband and I slept in were comfortable. This is a very casual house not fancy but had everything we needed. Great porch with view but it would be nicer if the shrubs were trimmed for a better view. All in all house met our needs for a quick beach fix.

I gave our stay an "Excellent" because we all had an exceptional time. This house is an "Old School" beach house which we preferred. The folks at Carolina One were very pleasant, helpful, and responsive with all we needed. Suggestion: The owner should consider upgrading the den furniture especially the sofa, and a new cooktop for the kitchen. But overall an excellent stay. Thank you.

The Anchor Inn is reminiscent of an old time beach cottage. It is our third year returning to the house and we plan to return next summer as well.
