Amazing Grace

The rental staff was very professional, helpful, and quick. Take care to note you must bring your own dishwasher soap, paper towels, and everything else on the list. Amazing Grace is a beautiful vacation house. It is very large and roomy. I love the layout. It is decorated very nicely. The only downside is it’s a little bit dated. However not to the point to make it uncomfortable. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return.

Just need a little improvements to the appliances. The stove top element would work on and off, the dishwasher took at least two to three times to run, and the dryer would take two heating cycles to dry a load of towels. We all just learned quickly and appreciated what Amazing Grace could offer us, so the we made smaller loads to the dishwasher, cooked on the bottom rack, set timer for a longer time and washed smaller loads so the dryer did not have to work so hard. Loved our Family time Amazing Grace gave us again!

This home is in excellent condition, love the fact that it is not on the main street but is a short easy walk yo the beach. Fenced yard is convenient for pups. Everything we needed was there as far as kitchen supplies. We also love the area under the house. It is clean and comfortable and a great place to play corn hole in the shade!

Little disappointed in cleanliness of the yard and area under house. Luckily I brought leaf blower and water hose. Was able to clean the under house area. The outside shower area is not useable due to debris and build up. The main bathroom sink was almost clogged, and I had to clean drain to get flowing. The ground fault breaker to main bathroom and receptacle under house keeps tripping. Thinking it was the golf cart charger. Back porch and stairs need some algae removal. This may seem like a lot of complaining, but not ment to be. We did enjoy the house very much. Just needs a little TLC.

Great backyard for the dog! TV was good, other 2 rentals had inexpensive TVs that were at the end of their live span.. WiFi worked well.. good location

The location and the fenced yard were key to our trip. The house itself needs a deep clean although it was acceptably clean. Glad we brought our own FireStick since the Xfinity box in the den does not work. I didn’t see that we needed to bring dish towels, sharp knives and a dish drainer as none of these were provided. We will most likely book a stay there again but would love to see the porches and the furniture on them cleaned.

Great spot for our family of 5 and dog. Comfortable. Loved the fenced in back yard and the wonderful porches. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well appointed (just need muffin tin). Water pressure in shower could be improved, but really no complaints. Grateful for the opportunity for beach time with our family.

We absolutely loved staying at Amazing Grace! Having the yard for the dogs was so perfect, although with all the leaves it did make it hard to do "poop patrol". The house could use some upgrading, but we don't mind the older houses as we grew up on Folly Beach. I would suggest removing the broken microwave above the stove and putting in a vent with light as the lighting in the kitchen is very dim. I would also suggest having the cleaning crew wipe down the tables and chairs on the porches as we had to so this before we could use due to the pollen accumulation. We enjoyed dealing with Carolina One Realty and will definitely look at Amazing Grace and other C-One properties for our next rental! We usually come out in May and October for a week. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this great house on Edisto!

The homeowners plan to replace the over-the-range microwave and remove the countertop microwave in the fall. We will also suggest updating the lighting in the kitchen for better visibility. While our houskeeping and property care teams strive to keep the outdoor areas pollen free, it can be difficult during certain times of the year. Springtime in Edisto is absolutely beautiful; however, our natural landscape, rich in native live oaks, pines, and flowering bushes, tends to create an abundance of pollen daily during the heavy blooming season(s). Fortunately, we are coming to the end of pollen season, and we will certainly reiterate the importance of outdoor furniture cleanliness to our teams.
