The Pearl

We stayed at “The Pearl” this October for 10 days, and enjoyed our time. Lovely location, well maintained, fabulous view and a comfortable setup for a beach visit. We highly recommend “The Pearl”!

Thoroughly enjoyed our week and already booked for next year. This house has such a beautiful view from every room. Very clean and kitchen supplied with all that you will need. Carolina One was very attentive to our needs and so pleasant to work with. Loved each and every minute!

This house was great. The views of the channel and islands were beautiful. The house is in great condition and kitchen was fully stocked. The walk out to the beach is simple. We would come back again. The only negative was the mosquitos, but I believe they were worse at this time due to the tropical storm that went through the week prior and left standing water throughout the island. A quick fogger and the mosquitos were gone. But it was a great home and a great overall experience. And thank you to Carolina One for being so easy to work with.

This is our second year staying at the Pearl and I have already reserved it again for 2025. The house is kept in emasculate condition and the location is perfect for my family and the sunsets are stunning. Thanks to the owners of this property for allowing my family to have this experience.

We have rented quite a few houses on Yacht Club Drive on Edisto Island over the years but never rented The Pearl. The home was perfect for our two families of 4 and the views from the living room, kitchen and upper porch are breathtaking. We hope to return!

The elevator was a tremendous help transporting all our luggage to the top floor. Very impressive house that clearly is loved by the owners. Will be back next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "The Pearl." The house is beautiful and spacious. We enjoyed the screened porches and the view they offered. The island deer were in the brush daily. We were able to admire them as we walked to the beach.

This home was immaculate and well maintained. We have been staying in Edisto for the past 30 years, but decided to switch it up from our regular rental house, and we’re very pleased with the decision to do so. We will be coming back to The Pearl!

Hi, We enjoyed our 2w at the Pearl. Great home layout and views. Kitchen was well stocked. Rooms were very comfortable. Really like the natural vegetation between house and beach. Walkway was in good shape. Thanks!

I would rate in between and excellent and good. The Pearl is am excellent place to stay although it is beginning to show some wear and tear. Nothing major but the light in the kitchen over the sink didn’t work. Two of the bathrooms had very slow draining sinks. The back door wouldn’t stay shut unless it was locked. The beds we’re comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. There are a few pans that should probably be thrown away. All in all our vacation was great!

We have confirmed that the light over the kitchen sink is working after tightening one of the bulbs. We have corrected the slow draining sinks, and the top floor porch door is scheduled for repair by the door manufacturer this coming off-season. We will address any aged out kitchen inventory during the off-season inventory inspection. This is our second year staying at The Pearl. We love it. I have already booked for next year. Even though it says 4 bedrooms, it's really 5. We put the kids in the small room with the fold out couch. The elevator is an amazing asset for getting luggage and groceries to the top floor. We can't wait till next year!
