18 Pelican Bay

This was one of the best houses that we have ever stayed in at Wild Dunes (Isle of Palms). It was very affordable and perfect for our family of four. House was in great shape and very clean. I would definitely recommend staying here at this house using Carolina One Vacation Rentals.

Public review: This house is really well located, two blocks from the beach and one from the pool. The primary on the first floor is great and each bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a 1/2 bath on the first floor as well. We loved the outdoor shower. The furniture is very comfortable. We enjoyed the screened in porch and our neighbors even fished off the balcony. We had two minor glitches when we arrived and both were fixed within an hour of our call to Carolina One. Great service and a great rental home.

Wonderful, nicely furnished clean house. A few nice outdoor seating options including screened porch overlooking the lagoon (canal?) with our very own visiting alligator and turtles and birds. We really like the option of ordering our beach equipment and were glad we ordered a beach wagon and bike.

Everything about our stay was great. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. And it's a small detail, but I loved the toilet paper roses and paper towel bows!

This is a wonderful family vacation spot. The house offers a great stay for a small sized family. Great location to the small community pool. Beach access if within block but tricky when hauling beach supplies as there is no beach parking. Access is best by biking, walking or golf cart. Beach wagons or Bikes with a wagon does the job. Nice being on the Lagoon for water view and fountain going. We had a great time and definitely recommend this as a great beach stay.

We love renting from Carolina One. They make the whole process easy from booking to entering the vacation rental. The properties always have everything that we need and is always clean upon arrival. This was the 2nd time our family stayed in this same house. My family loves it and the proximity to the beach. The added plus of the beach gear credit and the addition of the meals this year is a bonus. Morning & evenings sitting in the screened in porch ate a delight.

Being on the lagoon added so much to our stay. The alligator rested on the opposite bank, accompanied by five or six turtles and the carp jumping near the fountain were fun to watch. The resident herons also made their appearance and it was the natural surroundings and beautiful grounds that really worked for us. Proximity to the beach and the rolling trails for biking and running were priceless.

This was our 4th visit to Wild Dunes and I think it was the best spot we have stayed. The location is top for beach access without being on the beach itself. The house that we stayed was great. We utilized the bbq and enjoyed the screened in porch. Everyone slept well.

We rented a Vacation Home at 18 Pelican Reach, Isle of Palms SC, 29451 located in the gated resort community of the Wild Dunes on the Isle of Palms island just North East of Charleston, SC. 15-22 September 2020. The House is a single-family home located on a lagoon with a magnificent view from the back porches and balconies of the house. I check out the other homes on the lagoon and I know we actually had the best view of the lagoon.
