Great location! As others have stated, the house is in the "heart of downtown" and sits directly behind on of the more popular outdoor bars with nightly music - which we found as a plus. It is also less than a block away from the infamous Bert's 24-hour market. We also found this to be a plus. We are night owls and enjoyed this location. If you are looking for peace and quiet after 9 or 10PM, this might not be the place for you. There is no TV (which we also liked!) but feel it should be made known. The kitchen is very small when it comes to counter space, and prep. Intricate meals with lots of prep might be a bit of a challenge. It should also be noted there is no privacy for the outdoor showers, they are "for rinsing only" and not enclosed. All in all it was a great stay, and we will look for it again on future trips to Folly! Location location location!!!! (Oh, and as others have mentioned, it's a two-block walk to the beach!) Would recommend!!!!

This house is was so charming and in the perfect location. Perfect for a getaway for my boyfriend and I. We were so close to bars, restaurants, and stores, and so close to the beach, we could even walk there with no shoes! We will be back!

Great house to stay at! So charming from the outside and the inside is even cuter. Parking spot for renter is very helpful because it is a busy street. Very close to beach, very short walk. You are right next to the islands bodega, liquor store and a popular bar, so there will be constant foot traffic, delivery trucks and live music. It didn’t bother me any. Just know you’re in the action. Was able to walk everywhere my whole stay. The provided washer and dryer proved very useful!

Absolutely loved this property. The proximity to the beach and all of the restaurants, a grocery, and even the nearby islands can't be beat. The property itself was gorgeous inside and felt perfect for me and my fiancée. The outdoor showers for after the beach were also really nice. Highly recommend this booking and would stay again.

Clean and cozy place which is amazingly close to downtown and the beach. Since this place is literally a block from downtown, obviously don't expect a peace-and-quiet type environment-- sounds of tourists, bars, music and general downtown activity can carry on late into the night :) It worked out pretty well for the experience we were looking for, but it may not be the best spot for people who are light sleepers, or are looking for some quiet R&R.

Best location in Folly Beach. Just want you need, and nothing else. Simple, charming, delightful, very clean. Bert's and cool surfer bar one block away on way to beach which is only 2 blocks away.

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more!!!!!! The personal touch of the hand signed card and Prosecco for our honeymoon was so unexpected and sweet. The outdoor shower was awesome and perfect for coming back from the beach. The location 10 OUT OF 10!!! Though the home itself felt really private and tranquil. It was literally the perfect get away

Perfect location. Can walk to restaurants and the beach. Great to not have to find parking, just leave the car in designated space! Have to like loud music from the bar across the street, but earplugs are good.

Very cute and clean home. Location is close to everything. Walking distance to everything. Bar across the street had loud live rock music,every night. No TV, but live music every night! Leaf blowers at 8 am on the street. Noisy neighborhood.

This is a charming cottage and we LOVED the location, being able to walk to all of the restaurants and shops and bars downtown. The management office responded immediately when our internet went down. This was our first time exploring Folly Beach and we had a very enjoyable stay.

The stay at Folly Beach was great. Directions for entering the rental were timely and easy. Didn't need anything from Carolina One while we were staying but assume they would have responded accordingly.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Everything was perfect. House was spotless, great location close to all the restaurants, Bert's Market, and a very short walk to the beach. We did hear folks having fun and listening to live music at the bar close by, but it didn't bother us. If you go to bed early or are a light sleeper you might consider grabbing some ear plugs, Bert' market has them.

The house at 124 Cooper was a great getaway spot for my girlfriend and I. Location right next to Chico Feo and Bert's, as well as only 2 blocks to the main strip, made it the ideal spot in Folly. Small house but enough space to hang out in. Sun room was very nice. Kitchen is somewhat lacking if you want to cook beyond a stove top. Overall a great place that we will revisit again!

We loved the place. We love to stay at places that has charm and history. We met the housekeeper she was very nice to us and told us about some of the restaurant that we didn't visit before. We love to walk to as many places as we can. When we come back we will try to stay there again. Thank you again John and Karla Barnes.

Beautiful property with sufficient amenities (if truly stocked as represented on the site). Super reasonable price with quick access to the ocean, shops, and delicious restaurants. Will definitely be back!
