Welcome to 4 Red Sunset! Stay walking distance to the beach while having your own, private saltwater pool in the backyard. Take a break from the sun on the oversize screen porch or enjoy the large space under the home for a game of Ping-Pong or Cornhole.  Just a few minutes to walk to the Folly River and Sunset Cay Marina.  While at the marina enjoy the BEST sunsets in all of Charleston. For a little more excitement, the home is close to the downtown Folly Beach area and a short drive to downtown Charleston. Pet friendly with fee.

Living room with cozy seating, beachy decor, and a large flat screen TV flows into the dining area and kitchen making you feel right at home. Take your meals at the picnic-style table in the dining area, or choose a table on one of the porches. Kitchen has modern, stainless steel appliances including a 6-burner gas stove and 2 sinks. Utensils, an airfryer, cookware, and serveware are all supplied, so the kitchen is fully stocked for your family chef to prepare everything with ease.

Screen porch and open decks overlook the backyard and pool area. The full-length front porch offers quiet neighborhood, wooded views. Grill out on the gas grill. Watch the fun being had at the pool from furnishings under the house or on the loungers next to the pool. Take a dip in the cool water in the summertime, or pool can be heated with a pre-paid fee for the off-season months. Easily walk to the beach in about 4 minutes to spend the day in the sun, sand and waves. Hose off before going inside in the outdoor shower.  This home also has a golf cart on site to rent.  Rental instructions listed on the golf cart.

Master bedroom suite houses a comfortable king bed, flat screen TV, and access to your private bathroom. Master bathroom features a double vanity, lots of storage, and a walk-in shower. Guest bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a flat screen TV. Full hallway bathroom with a tub/shower is shared between bedrooms 2 and 3. Guest bedroom 3 is the perfect kids room with a double/twin bunk bed, as well as an additional twin bed. Freshly laundered, high quality linens and towels are provided for the maximum occupancy of the home.

Go into the Folly Beach downtown area, just 1.5 miles away, to wander through local shops, markets (seasonal & holidays), listen to live entertainment, and eat at one of our local restaurants. All restaurants and shops are open year-round. Get out on the water to take a fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, or dolphin watching tour from a licensed guide. Surfing lessons are available through several companies and instructors. Stroll down the Folly Beach Pier on Center Street (partially closed through Spring 2023), or find the local and tourist favorite Morris Island Lighthouse beach at the far east end of the island for wow-worthy Instagram shots! 

Just a short, 25-minute drive will have you to historical, downtown Charleston to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer. Here you will experience world-class dining, swanky boutiques, souvenir shopping along The Market, harbor views from The Battery and Waterfront Park, theater, comedy clubs, museums, grand churches, history, carriage and ghost tours, plus so much more. Customize your memorable trip to this historical city. Take the kids to the Children's Museum and the South Carolina Aquarium. Immerse yourself and the family in the Southern culture.

Parking for up to 6 vehicles is free in the double driveway area. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly. Check-in is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am. 

Amenities include free Wi-Fi, Roku TVs , private pool (heat with pre-paid fee), keyless entry, contactless check-in, central heat and A/C, $250 VayK Gear beach gear rental credit, washer/dryer, linens, bath towel sets, and modern appliances. A starter supply of toiletries will be provided and up to the guest to replenish as needed. Fireplace is not for guest use.  Home is non-smoking. Pet friendly with fee of $125 per pet, plus tax. Maximum 2 pets, dogs only allowed. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home, of 8 guests.
