We loved this house! It was perfectly positioned on the best part of the beach. The house was comfortable and included games for the outside. Carolina One was extremely responsive and very professional. Went above and beyond in helping us regarding an extension cord for our golf cart. Greg and the team are all excellent professionals and we will be booking for our third time with them within the month.

Spectacular wide view of the ocean. House is super comfortable and attractive and spotless.. Carolina One responsive to all needs, including putting down salt on outside steps prior to unusual snow storm. Thanks to Greg for being so responsive on arrival, helping us access YouTube TV.

Truly outstanding property! The location is magical, with a huge beachfront lot nestled towards the end of the island. Minimal traffic, great shelling, perfect porch for coffee and sunsets. Thanks for sharing this incredible spot with our family of five!

Thank you for sharing such a lovely home. I had work in Charleston, and it was the perfect location, both for the days I could work remotely and for days I needed to commute in and for my husband to work remotely, too. We were pleasantly surprised that it was even nicer than we expected. The location was quiet and peaceful since it was a little ways away from Center Street. The views were unmatched and the furnishings were very comfortable. Our dog loved it too! We plan to return.

Overall great stay with an unbeatable location - on the calm north end of folly away from. The busy town areas. Private but not isolated! Kitchen appliances could use some work - fridge filter needs replacement and stove needs maintenance.

This was our first visit to Charleston, so we were not familiar with the geography of the beaches. Thanks to the website we were able to get a feel for where this house was in relation to the busy "downtown" area of Folly Beach. That said we could not have been happier with the location of the property. After parking both of our vehicles in the shade under the house, we climbed the stairs overlooking the beach to the front door. The first thing we noticed was how immaculately clean the house was.

What a perfect location. My husband who has trouble walking long distances was able to sit on the beach a couple of days and then sit on the screened in porch and watch his granddaughter play in the ocean. He's even asked to go back next year.

Beautiful home in a great location. The master suite takes up the whole second floor, and the other 2 bedrooms are on the same level with the kitchen, dining space & small living area. There is a very nice screened in porch that is useful if you have a large group. The beach is not kayak or paddle board friendly - currents are strong and dangerous. There are local companies that can take you on an inland waterway kayak tour, if interested. Talk with the locals who live on the island - you'll learn the most

I vacationed at 1 Summer Place for a week to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends/family. We could not have asked for a better vacation home! Everything was perfect! Property management even left a sweet card & bottle of wine to help celebrate my special day! The memories we made at 1 Summer Place will not be forgotten! The kitchen is fully stocked with EVERYTHING you need! We enjoyed a shrimp boil on the lower porch watching the ocean, volleyball on your private property, games on the screened porch.

This was the nicest house in Folly we have ever stayed at and we loved everything about it. It was exceptionally clean, very nice furniture, the kitchen was so well stocked (even labeled!) and Carolina One is the easiest company to work with - so friendly and responsive and helpful. This is the second time renting from them and we won't use anyone else. Each bedroom was equally as nice and the bathrooms were wonderful. Our kids loved the bunkbeds. Nothing like I've ever seen. We loved everything!

This was our family vacation spot for my husband and two children with their families. The five year old and three year old loved the bunk beds! Loved the stairs to the upper bunk and both beds were well lit for snuggling in bed with a book. We all enjoyed the screen porch which allowed the relaxing ocean breeze to pass through. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to create family style meals. The home is beautifully decorated throughout with upscale furnishings and finishes.

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding location!! The house was so clean and functional, and the yard provided the best reception venue ever. When we had issues with lighting and garbage at the beginning of our stay, Troy was there within in an hour to get them fixed. He was amazing to work with!! We had the best time at One Summer Place. I cannot recommend this property enough. We had three couples and three dogs and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The location is wonderful and not very crowded, perfect for just soaking in the sun and a very leisurely vacation. The house was very clean and as others have said, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need. We will definitely be booking One Summer Place again in the very near future.

This was our first time staying here and we had a great time! They give you suggestions on places to eat. The house was clean and they even have trial toiletries. We loved the screened in porch. Great to be right on the ocean. We have stayed at plenty of houses and they one thing that stood out for me was how everything was labeled. All the light switches & the drawers in the kitchen. We would definitely book again.

We had a fabulous time here over Christmas. A special surprise was that The house was beautifully decorated with 2 Christmas trees, poinsettias and a vase of flowers. The house is spectacular. Right on the beach. At high tide the waves come up to the base of the private beach access steps. Amazing sweeping views from many decks and a screen room and inside from dining room living room and master Bedroom. Floor design well laid out. Well stocked with essentials. TVs in every room and strong well functioning

Our stay at 1 Summer Place was a dream trip! Getting our adult kids, spouses, and young granddaughters away together for a week at a beach house in Charleston was what I wanted for our 40th anniversary and scheduling is not an easy task as business owners. It was incredibly relaxing! The home was perfect, location couldn't have been better! When there was a problem with the upstairs A/C, a repairman arrived within 45 minutes of my call! Overall we couldn't have asked for a better experience!
