Popcorn and admission into the event are free, and additional food and ice cream will be available for purchase. Labor Day weekend seems like it’s a long time away, but it will be here before we all know it. Now is the perfect time to start planning for your Labor Day vacation with the family to kick off the end of the summer together. Staying in one of our Carolina One vacation rentals will allow you and your family to stay close to the fun. Let’s look below why you should plan your vacation to the Charleston area for Labor Day weekend today.
Spend the Day on the Sand
One of the best things about spending your Labor Day vacation is being able to take advantage of the low crowds on the beaches. This year let the kids build enormous sandcastles and let the teens play catch the frisbee. There is something for everyone to do and enjoy a day at the beach. Don’t forget to bring the essentials with you on the beach, such as a beach umbrella, towels, sunscreen, a book to read, and the toys for the kids. Relaxing and spending time together is just what every beach vacation should be about.
Try a New Restaurant
Vacations are the best when it comes to not feeling like cooking for the family in your vacation rental. This year take the family out to a new restaurant that may have just opened or just trying one you’ve never eaten at before. If your family likes seafood, then give The Kingstide a try on Daniel Island. They have a classic raw bar that includes oysters and stone crab claws, and they offer the classics such as lobster rolls and even a steak. Many new restaurants are opening up this summer and fall that you will try maybe a few on your vacation.
While there are many other fun things that you can do this Labor Day this year, we wanted to share these few with you. If you haven’t booked your Labor Day vacation yet, now is the time. We don’t want you and your family to miss out on a great vacation to end the summer and begin a great school year!
Do you and your family need a change of scenery this fall from life at home? If the answer is yes, then allow us to share with you why you need to take a vacation to the Charleston area this fall. This year has been quite a year for many and has made some new adjustments as well. Staying in one of our Charleston area vacation rentals will allow you and your family to enjoy your stay on the coast. Let’s look below at why you should take a vacation even while Learning and working remotely.
Learn Virtually While on Vacation
This year learning for many students will be different compared to previous years. Instead of heading back to school in the classroom, they will be learning from home virtually. Because of this change, that only means that you and your family can take a vacation while your kids are still in school. You will find that each one of our homes comes equipped with complimentary WIFI for you to enjoy. So instead of learning from home, come to the beach and learn all while enjoying your vacation to the Charleston area.
Work from the Beach
Another thing that has changed for many parents is working from home instead of the office. While many still had to go into the office because they were essential workers, many will remain home until 2021. This can be a wonderful thing because now you and your family can still take a vacation to the coast. Instead of sitting at home, hearing the kids fight about who has the remote, you can be enjoying your time at the beach. Work from the living room or deck of your vacation rental. Take a long lunch break and enjoy time with the family on the beach. No matter what working while on vacation is better than any day at home.
While there are so many other things that are exciting about the kids learning virtually and you work from home, these we wanted to share with you. If you haven’t booked your next vacation to stay with us in one of our Charleston area vacation rentals, now is the time. We can’t wait to see you and your family as you relax this fall on the South Carolina Coast!
